What are you moving towards?
Dear Fool,
If there was ever a life philosophy that had nearly universal benefits to each individual who practiced it– it’d be movement.
We need to be moving towards something, otherwise– we expire (not die, but you know– complacency, boredom, pain and misery, resentment, all the hello-darkness-my-old-friend stuff).
They say you can’t outrun your problems, — and this must be the greatest lie ever told.
You literally can.
Problems only hold you when you’re still.
If you keep moving, you’ll make a way.
This raises the question: What are you moving towards right now?
A lot of us are stuck running circles. Wake up, force shit down out mouths– out our bowls, out the door, and back through it. Then you say you have anxiety and wonder why…
…
Call that living?
It doesn’t matter what your beliefs, you can see it as purpose, imagine it as destiny, attract it as a universal law– just don’t get hung up on the alphabet soup of it.
Jesus rewards do-ers.
Whatever your religion, edit movement into it.
Now, some of you may be thinking, “that’s great, but where the hell am I going?”
And to that I’d say– it MATTERS NOT.
You can go wherever, you’re not supposed to “know” exactly where. Just start moving, and you’ll discover side routes that attract you.
And that becomes the path.
Movement is living.
Sincerely,
— Future You (who is more successful and better looking) 🙂
