Started reading this book and wanted to share some immediate takeaways for you Fools on the “trying to make something of myself” journey.
The author recommends doing something called morning pages.
Every morning, you’d write 3 pages, everyday, and dump literally anything that comes to mind on there.
“I just woke up and don’t feel like doing this” counts.
You can write anything, the point is just to write.
What this does is improve your clarity and focus throughout the day but it also acts as a meditative practice, and helps you become more whole, more yourself.
For the month of November, let’s do a challenge.
For all of November, just one month, remove your weaknesses and replace them with a better habit. Instead of watching tv, read. Instead of drinking, drive (joking).
Point is, for this upcoming month, let’s get disciplined.
