The UN-originals: common experiences & trendi beliefs

The best tell of someone who’s never traveled, experienced new things, and probably does nothing with their life— is RIGID worldviews.

People with strong opinions are usually idiots.

Yeah, I bet I’ll offend a lot with that one, but idiots are easily offended and they always have the numbers.

Today, it’s popular to have “strong” beliefs.

Everyone, regardless of side, has an opinion and really, it’s far more of a conviction. Notice the self-righteousness looming in the air?

And if you do identify with a side, I don’t care about your group opinion, because you’re not an independent thinker.

That’s the price of having a mascot, your representative will tell you how to respond to this–just give it a month.

Before you point your squirt gun at me, perhaps you’d like to know where I stand, you know, so you have better aim.

I was one of you once.

A social outcast, who was proudly anti-society, and had a take on every topic. I also fit all the qualifications to be a member– I was broke, depressed, and stupid. Stupid, because I didn’t do shit, but sat there and watered my darkness with sad songs and conspiracy theories.

I was an idiot.

And of course, in being an idiot, I couldn’t see that I was one. That’s just how it works, instead I could only see the flaws of the universe, and how everything was for nothing… what a party.

But as my wallets eating disorder grew, and my depression darko’d, I knew that despite my Mr.Robot beliefs, I would have to join the machine I protested against to live any kind of decent.

That’s right, I had to become a functioning member of society, Dun dun duuuuuhhhhhn.

And so I did.

And guess what, the world is awesome you imbeciles. The more you stay in your closet home office, the more you see darkness. But that isn’t how it is, that’s just the coat hanger cutting off circulation to your brain.

Want life? Want that dream world where nothing matters?

Step outside, and leave your lunacy. Get some vitamin D you pale psychopaths.

Sides don’t matter. Your opinions are cheap AF and uninteresting. You’re so boring its revolting.

You haven’t done shit, and everyone thinks exactly as you do, so put down the tik tok and go do something.

Travel, try new things, try… not to be who you are.

There’s only one way to play this game we’ve incarnated into, and that is to be original. It’s a lonely endeavor, but gaaatdamn it’s so worth it.

No one wants to play… but everyone wants the prize (my life philosophy)

We’re living in a very controversial time right now.

One wrong exhale, and you can cancel yourself off the internet, which is huge since real life doesn’t matter anymore.

Without twitter and facebook, we’d be nothing… how meta?

Anyways, today every single person has an opinion. Even more unique, they’re not curious about yours– only if you agree with them. Lunacy has reached its peak.

The people who claim that they’re balanced, no different. You can feel them tentacling you in conversation, probing for your views, not because they respect you or want to get to know you, but they don’t associate with the other side.

Both sides do this, it’s really just what’s your choice of crazy?

In comes my side, a party of two– myself and my brother. Our perspective is a little different than yours.

I love all of you fighting to make a difference, but don’t point and call me out in a crowd when I’m trying to get bread.

I don’t associate with loss.

And eventually, every side takes its turn losing.

So, here’s my view for you recruiters wasting your time: Everyone wants the prize, but no one wants to play.

I’m not going to move off grid and live in the woods to keep my so called freedom. I want to be rich and famous, so if I have to give up some freedom to play– I will. There’s no planet I incarnated to be broke, isolated, and charmin-ultra-soft free.

You’re talking about privacy but have an iphone. You’re talking about health but eat genetically modified cardboard. You’re talking about freedom but depend on every luxury of society.

Everything is pay to play. Everything is a trade off.

You do it everyday, and then in the same breath turn around and draw a line on the weirdest possible thing—

it’s looney.

And don’t misunderstand me, I’m cool with it. I love rebels.

I just love winning more. I’m not going to give anyone advice, because no one really wants it. The majority will read this and wonder if I’m Blue or Red? Pro or Against?

But while you take a stand and show everyone that you’re unhire-able, your false gods and all the celebrities the public worships stay winning, and pretend. Actors don’t act in movies, they get paid to act in public.

How could you think someone whos rich cares about your small life?

They say they do? So, you believe them?

C’mon. You know better.

A lot of you will read this and think I’m somehow fake or disloyal. And for those of you that do, you’ll only find pain here. This blog is for intelligent people, not mascots.

For the rest of you, my only advice is this: Before you take a stand or make any big decisions, ask yourself: Is this how I picture my life? Is this what I desire?

Act on that, not others BS.

It’s a helluva time to be alive, shit is awesome. But you’ll get in life what you trade– it’s a universal law.

We all pay to play.

Good Paranoia, Bad Instincts: Trust your Brain not your Gut

We’ve all got that one friend… maybe today, it’s more than one.

You know, the friend that goes down every rabbit hole and comes up with expertise on why the world is ending and how “they” are trying to get you.

Even with context, this friend usually sounds a little nutty, but today— a lot of us are that friend.

It’s hard to escape the madness. We’re all hurting for moderates but it seems like no one wants to be in the middle about anything.

Either you’re anti something or pro it, an enforcer or freedom fighter.

We’ve all arrived to a point where everything is up for debate, and most can’t meet in the middle on anything.

How do you know when it’s paranoia? How do you know when your gut feeling is right?

For a long time, I trusted my gut over everything. I’m not going to tell you I was wrong either, because I wasn’t.

That said, my gut isn’t good at critical thinking.

It’s good at raising alarms.

If your instincts are shooting through the roof right now, than they’re doing their job.

Unfortunately, a lot of us stop here. The gut says this political party is evil and wants mass control, no research needed… and that’s where it stops.

If you want to go off-grid camping, and never come back– that’s fine. But I want a good life, and that requires moderation.

“The truth is in the middle” comes to mind here.

Neither party is right, and your friends blindly following one side or the other are just as dumb. A party is groupthink by definition. That doesn’t mean the science is wrong or they get everything right or wrong, it means you shouldn’t be so easily influenced.

People stay “informed” by being told what to do and believe.

There are too many LAZY thinkers.

The only way to know how to move forward in life, is to see for yourself. The challenge here, people find the information they secretly want to– unknowingly.

Social media makes it even harder.

There are people I want to follow for topics unrelated, but today these same people have become experts in science… at least, so they think.

My only word of advice?

Dig for yourself.

Nothing is personal, even when they’re personally trying to tell you what to do. Everyone lives out their own delusions, whether they are right or wrong they do this.

It’s human nature.

If we’re going to make the right choice for ourselves, we need to find the uninfluenced, un-politized data.
